We purchase our diamonds from diamond exchanges or directly from diamond cutters. Some of these cutters have been in business for more than 55 years. We verify the legitimacy of each of our suppliers. Without legitimacy and a strong reputation, they could not operate in this industry. We know all of our business partners in this sector personally. This is one of the reasons why we can guarantee that our stones are conflict-free diamonds from legitimate sources.

The legal mining of diamonds has been regulated by the Kimberley Agreement since 2002. A conflict-free diamond is one that has been mined legally. The proceeds from mining and trade are not used to finance civil wars, other violent conflicts, or illegal activities.

The agreement originated as an initiative of the diamond industry following a steady increase in the number of illegally mined diamonds in the 1990s. Today, 54 countries and all African diamond producers participate in the Kimberley Process. The European Union is counted as one country. The goal of the agreement is to enforce ethical business practices in the diamond industry and eliminate human rights violations.

Our diamonds are exclusively of natural origin – meaning they are neither recycled nor synthetically produced. They are naturally mined, completely untreated, and ethically processed. Their sourcing is based on a responsible process that we continuously monitor. We strictly adhere to applicable law and the guidelines of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses.

Every diamond we sell is certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The GIA is the world's highest authority when it comes to diamond evaluation, authenticity, and quality. The certificate number is also lasered into the girdle—the area of the diamond with the largest diameter. Two other globally recognized diamond certification laboratories are HRD and IGI — some of our diamonds are also certified by these institutes.
